Massive free playground. Famous wooden slide (Ann Newman Giant Wooden Slide — kids must be under 62 inches). Enclosed toddler area. Mansion with indoor play for under 5. 40 min from Wilmington.

Admission is free for all visitors; donations are welcomed. Special events may have a small entry fee. Group visits (10+ children) require advanced reservations and have a fee starting at $25/group.
Hours, in the venue's words
Tue-Fri 10am-6pm, Sat-Sun 10am-7pm (Apr-Sep); Tue-Sun 10am-5pm (Oct-Mar). Closed Mon. Playhouse closes one hour earlier than the playground in spring/summer.
Seasonal hours
Outdoor playground closes at dusk in fall and winter. All hours are weather permitting.
Parking
Free parking lot in front of the Playhouse. When the lot is full, cars may park along Reservoir Drive.
