The designated seating area holds roughly 400-500 people on free benches, first-come, with more viewing space around the edges. The music is general-audience — jazz, blues, soul, rock, orchestra, comedy, and the occasional children's show — which means older kids and teens get more out of it than toddlers do.

There is no designated parking lot for bandstand patrons — the venue says so directly, because it sits in the heart of downtown on the main avenue. Plan on the metered spaces scattered throughout the city, all within a short walk, or public transportation. There are designated accessible spaces near the bandstand for people who need them. The city's parking office is at 1 City Hall Drive, 302-227-6184, open daily 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. from May 15 to September 15.
The two indented spaces on either side of the bandstand are reserved for performer drop-offs and deliveries after 4 p.m. on show days — not public parking.

The bandstand has no official address. It sits at the furthest point on Rehoboth Avenue before the boardwalk, overlooking the ocean; the venue tells people to punch 1 Rehoboth Avenue into GPS. No tickets, no gate. It's fully accessible, with ramps and sidewalk access for wheelchairs and strollers.
Parent Logistics
Ramps and sidewalk access make it easy to roll right up, and it's an open-air plaza at the downtown end of Rehoboth Avenue. There's no posted stroller policy for the seating area — plan to stand at the back or along the sides, where the venue says the stage's shape gives an equally clear view. Bringing your own seating is permitted; just don't block aisle-ways or anyone's sightline.

Two more seasonal comfort stations sit on the boardwalk at Baltimore Avenue and Delaware Avenue, and City Hall at 229 Rehoboth Avenue has wheelchair-accessible restrooms on weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Seasonal facilities run roughly April 1 to December 1.
Not posted for the Rehoboth Avenue restrooms next to the bandstand. The nearest ones the city does list are at the Delaware Avenue comfort station on the boardwalk, where both accessible family restrooms have baby changing stations and one has an adult changing table.
