Fifer Orchards

Fifer's fall-festival page gives Sept 19 - Nov 7 for 2026 (the Wyoming page still says TBA — check first). One all-access admission ticket covers the fall activities: pumpkin patch and apple picking on select dates, the 2026 corn maze, apple cannons, tractor train, and a yard's worth of farm games.

Mega slide, jumping pillows, pedal tractors, zip swings, corn crib, rubber ducky races, tire tumblers, teeter-totters and barnyard croquet. Open Monday-Saturday, weather permitting; tickets at the admission gate.

Strawberries in May, blueberries and peaches in summer, sunflowers and zinnias midsummer (bring your own shears and buckets), then apples — with a tractor-and-wagon ride out to the orchard — and pumpkins in fall.

Lunch combos, hand-dipped and soft-serve ice cream, cider slushies, and the Condiment Cows. Hours are posted daily, not fixed.

Their own fruit and vegetables plus apple cider donuts, kettle corn, local honey and specialty foods. Open Mon-Sat 10am-5pm — an easy stop even when nothing's pickable.

When does Fifer's Fall Fest start in 2026?

Fifer's fall-festival page and its homepage both give Sept 19 - Nov 7. But their own Wyoming location page still reads "FALL FEST 2026 TBA" and "U-PICK PUMPKINS 2026 TBA," so the site contradicts itself. Treat Sept 19 - Nov 7 as the working answer and confirm on the fall-festival page or their Facebook before you drive an hour.

Is it free to get into Fifer Orchards?

Walking onto the farm and into the Farm Store is free — there's no general admission for the market. The activities aren't free: U-Play and Fall Fest tickets are bought at the admission gate, U-Pick pumpkins require a ticket, and you pay for whatever else you pick. Fifer's doesn't publish those prices on its website, so we can't quote you a number — assume a gate charge and ask when you get there.

Can we bring our dog?

No. Fifer's prohibits pets under USDA regulations — service animals only. This is the one that ruins trips, because there's no kennel and no shade to leave a dog in. Leave them home.

Are there restrooms?

The U-Pick area has portable restrooms with hand sinks. That's what Fifer's lists, so set expectations with a potty-training kid accordingly and go before you head out to the fields.

Is Fifer's stroller-friendly?

Mostly. Fifer's own answer is "Yes! Most areas are stroller friendly, however, we are a working farm with some unpaved, uneven walking surfaces." An all-terrain stroller or a wagon handles the rows better than an umbrella stroller — and note that wagons are not provided, so bring your own if you're picking pumpkins.

What are the hours, and are they open Sundays?

Closed Sundays — the farm runs six days a week. The Wyoming Farm Store is open Monday through Saturday, 10am-5pm. U-Pick, U-Play, and the Farm Kitchen's lunch and ice cream hours are posted daily rather than fixed (U-Pick apples have been running roughly 10am-2pm, while supplies last), so check their Facebook the morning of.

Best Time to Visit

Fall is the big family visit. Fifer's fall-festival page and homepage both list Fall Fest 2026 as Sept 19 - Nov 7, though the Wyoming location page still says "FALL FEST 2026 TBA" — so confirm before you drive out. Saturdays add farm animals, live music, and face painting; they're also the busiest, so go early or pick a weekday. Outside fall it's a quieter U-Pick-and-farm-store stop: strawberries in May, blueberries and peaches in summer, flowers in midsummer. The Farm Store runs Mon-Sat 10am-5pm; lunch, ice cream, U-Pick, and U-Play hours are posted daily rather than fixed. Closed Sundays.

Seasonal Notes

Pick-your-own rotates: strawberries May to early June, blueberries June-July, peaches July to early August, sunflowers and zinnias July to mid-August (availability varies — bring your own shears and buckets), apples, then pumpkins. Fifer's own pages disagree on the fall windows: the u-pick page lists apples "Late July - Oct" and pumpkins in October, the Wyoming location page lists apples "Late Aug - Mid Oct" and marks U-Pick pumpkins "2026 TBA," and the homepage says U-Pick apples started August 8, Mon-Sat 10am-2pm while supplies last. Fall Fest is Sept 19 - Nov 7 per the fall-festival page and homepage, TBA per the Wyoming page. All of it is crop- and weather-dependent, and Fifer's tells you outright to check their Facebook page for daily hours before coming out to pick. U-Play runs Monday-Saturday, weather permitting.

Rainy Day?

Mostly outdoor. The Farm Store and Farm Kitchen give some cover, but U-Play is explicitly weather-permitting and the fields turn to mud — save the picking for a dry day.
