The Blue Ball Barn is a restored historic dairy barn from the old Blue Ball farm along the Concord Pike, now run by Delaware State Parks as an event space and home to the state's Delaware Folk Art Collection. Inside you'll find folk art by Delaware makers — handmade paintings, carvings, and decorative objects that tell a regional story.
For families, it's a short, calm, free stop rather than a destination of its own. The space is a single level, easy with a stroller, and air-conditioned — which makes it a useful reset in the middle of a hot or rainy day at Alapocas.
