Worth knowing

› Labor Day is late (Sep 7) and every district tacks on Friday Sep 4 — the first four-day weekend arrives one week into school.
› Election Day (Nov 3) closes every district — and Christina, Brandywine and Appoquinimink are closed Nov 2 as well, making a four-day weekend.
› Thanksgiving is a full nine days off everywhere: no school Nov 23–27 in all six districts.
› Winter break is Dec 24–Jan 1 everywhere, but Christina and NCC Vo-Tech start Dec 21 — eleven straight days.
› Feb 12 + Presidents' Day (Feb 15) is a four-day weekend in every district (Brandywine 9–12 excepted).
› Spring break is the same week everywhere: Mar 26–Apr 2. One camp week covers all six districts.
› May 28 + Memorial Day is a four-day weekend for Christina, Colonial and Appoquinimink families.
