Delaware Saengerbund Oktoberfest
Sat 12:00 PM · ages 3+ · $10 · Delaware Saengerbund · outdoor 🚗 23 min from Wilmington
Oktoberfest at Delaware Saengerbund opens at noon both days — Saturday until 11:00 PM, Sunday until 6:00 PM, so go early Sunday. Admission is $10 for ages 3 and up and includes unlimited amusement rides. Parking is remote with a shuttle to the gate — the organizer's page has the lot and the fee.
Why this made the cut
The $10 admission includes the amusement rides, and this age group is old enough to use them — and to enjoy a festival crowd rather than just endure it.
$10 Outdoor No registration

Field Notes — Brandywine Zoo — an hour is exactly enough
Small enough to do the whole loop before anyone melts down, which is the point at this age. The red pandas are the stars — our girls ask for them by name — and the Andean condors are hard to miss. Bonus: the concession stand is actually reasonably priced, which at a zoo is basically a miracle. Also the Brandywine Farmers Market is nearby on Saturdays from 9-12.
