✦ Our Pick
Middletown Olde-Tyme Peach Festival
Sat 8:45 AM · Downtown Middletown — Main Street · outdoor 🚗 37 min from Wilmington
Thirty-third year, rain or shine, and about 27,000 people. The parade steps off at 8:45 on Broad Street; after that Main Street is closed to cars. Park in the high school lot on Silver Lake Road and walk; shuttles are reserved for seniors and riders with disabilities.
Why this made the cut
The other four hand you a room and a start time. This is a closed street for seven hours - come after the parade, leave when it curdles, and the day bends around your kid instead of the other way.
Outdoor No registration
