Highland Orchards is our CSA — a real working farm, not a staged event. Kids gravitated to an old tractor by the chickens. Weekday mornings are quietest.

Highland Orchards Farm Market
Did You Know?
There are two Highland Orchards farms, and they share one root. The Wilmington farm traces to Clark Webster, who bought the land in 1832 (his son Isaac began clearing it in 1835); grandfather John Webster gave it the name Highland Orchards in 1940 and, in 1941, bought a farm outside West Chester, PA. The two eventually split between branches of the family — the Wilmington farm market stayed with the Linton family, the West Chester u-pick farm passed to the Hodge family. Independent businesses for decades: same name, same roots, different operations.
