Tiny Weekends

Mini golf at the Delaware beaches with kids

Mini golf is a beach-vacation ritual, and the Delaware coast is thick with themed courses — volcanoes, dinosaurs, pirates, and a rooftop right on the boardwalk. This is the family shortlist from Rehoboth down to Fenwick, with a note on which suit the littlest putters. Most are outdoor and seasonal, so check current hours before you go; we link to each. (A couple of old favorites — Captain Jack's in Bethany and Ryan's on the boardwalk — have closed, so they're not here.)

Best for All ages

Fire Mountain Golf — 18 holes carved into a tropical volcano, part of the Midway family park near Rehoboth, so you can pair it with go-karts. Some steps between elevated holes.
