Free to attend — Alapocas Run State Park: Per-vehicle park entrance fee (not per-person): $5 DE-registered, $10 out-of-state. Fee season March 1-Nov 30. Annual pass $50 residents / $100 non-residents.

Families will walk through Alapocas Woods with park naturalists to search for the pawpaw, North America’s largest native fruit-bearing tree. Participants will learn about the tree’s ecology and significance in the local ecosystem. Registration is required — book ahead to secure a spot.
